Research Aptitude
Logical Reasoning
Communication
Data Interpretation
Comprehension
For Paper II, prioritize:
Key theories
Definitions
Previous year paper patterns
Important problem-solving techniques
2. Attempt Short Mock Tests Daily
Simulate exam pressure for Paper I and Paper II. Use OMR sheets for practice because the actual exam uses OMR (Page 12) .

This is NOT the time to learn new concepts. Stick to what you’ve already prepared.
4. Practice Previous Year Questions
PYQs help in understanding WBCSC’s style, difficulty, and repetition trends.
5. Check Exam Centre & Documents Early
Ensure your ID, photos, admit card, and stationery are ready.
6. Follow Exam Day Instructions Strictly
As per guidelines (Page 8–12) :
No electronic gadgets allowed
No entry after gate closing time
Maintain discipline and avoid any misconduct
7. Rest Well – Keep Your Mind Fresh
A calm mind performs better than a fatigued one. Sleep well on the previous night.
