IIT JAM 2026 Documents Required

While filling out the IIT JAM 2026 application form, candidates must ensure that they upload the required documents in proper format. The key documents include:

X Standard (SSC) Marksheet/Certificate: Proof of date of birth and educational eligibility. This is a compulsory document and ensures verification of academic records.
Photograph: A recent, passport-sized color photograph with a white background. The face should be clearly visible, without caps or sunglasses. The file must match the official size and resolution specifications to be accepted.
Signature: A scanned copy of the candidate’s signature on white paper in black or blue ink. It should be neat, clear, and conform to the size guidelines provided.
Category Certificate (if applicable): Candidates from SC, ST, OBC-NCL, or EWS categories must upload a valid caste certificate issued by a competent authority. The certificate should be in PDF format and recent.
PwD Certificate (if applicable): Persons with Disabilities must upload a valid disability certificate or UDID card in PDF format. This is required for availing exam-related relaxations or accommodations.
Important Instructions:
