ABOUT CSIR NET MATHEMATICS

The Joint CSIR–UGC NET is conducted nationwide to determine eligibility for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and Assistant Professorship in Mathematical Sciences. It evaluates advanced mathematical concepts from Real Analysis, Linear Algebra, Differential Equations, PDE, ODE, Abstract Algebra, Complex Analysis, Numerical Methods, and more. SCHEDULE OF EXAMINATION (AS PER CITY SLIP NOTICE)

The CSIR NET examination will be conducted in two shifts.


Shift 1 is from 9 AM to 12 Noon and includes the subjects: Life Sciences, Earth, Atmospheric, Ocean & Planetary Sciences, and Chemical Sciences.


Shift 2 is from 3 PM to 6 PM and covers Mathematical Sciences and Physical Sciences.
